General Principles

1. All souls are bound to seek the truth in matters which concern the Divine; when they have found it, then they have the right to embrace and keep that truth as sacred.

2. Because all souls are autonomous, and all souls possess the divine right of choice, the Church holds that it is impossible for anyone to be "forced'' to embrace any creed or dogma against their conscience.

3. Neither the Church nor its clergy may proclaim any superiority of morality or special divine grace for any specific religious doctrine or creed. Therefore, proselytizing or coercion of any sort is completely prohibited by the Church and its ministers. These activities waste time and energy, and are ultimately senseless when examined from the perspective of enlightened consciousness.

4. The leadership of the Church keeps an especial covenant; though there are certain principles espoused by the Church, neither it nor its leadership shall construe those principles to be infallible, or even definitive. Like most entities, the Church continues to refine its highest truths, and reserves the right to modify its espoused principles when such is demonstrably necessary.
