The Sacramental Journey, Last Rites:

1. The final passage point to personal power occurs when one finally releases one's attachments to
past regrets and/or future worries, and realizes that the 'now moment' is the only one in which
we can act to create the future.

    (a) This passage is accompanied by the emotional realization and experience that there have been
no mistakes or 'wrong' choices in one's life, that all has transpired exactly as it should, and that
there is indeed a Divine order to all life as it is lived and experienced. This realization triggers a
tremendous in-rushing of energy and power into one's energy system, a signal of Divine Grace.

    (b) One also must release one's energy and attachments to all unfinished business in order to
participate fully in 'now moment.' The practice of calling one's energy back from such matters
is the true exercise of power over one's mind and spirit. Live in the Present Moment.

    (c) As such, it is sometimes needful to allow various parts of one's life which no longer serve to
'die away,' a process of release that allows the recovery of one's energy, which is then devoted
         to the process of 'rebirth.'  This solemn, joyous event can occur many times in one's life;
Church members who feel the need to mark this passage with rite or ceremony are encouraged
to contact a clergymember, who can help them create one that is meaningful for them.

    (d) Lastly, it is sometimes symptomatic of this passage point that the seeker will begin to experience
extreme crises of faith that will at times require extraordinary measures of support and guidance
from clergymembers and others who have already experienced them. Training to recognize these
crises and to be able to differentiate them from psychological crises, which they resemble, shall
be incumbent upon the clergy ordained by the Church. These spiritual crises are not the mark of
failure in the seeker; rather they are the mark of a high level of personal development and shall be
treated as such by all members.

2. With regard to funerals, should any cleric of the church perform a ceremonial for a member of the
Church or any other person whether member or no, that cleric shall ensure that a record of the
proceeding is recorded in Church records.
