What is the trajectory of your life? Where is it leading you? Can you see it? Unfortunately most of us cannot. But there are some who can. They're called prophets, an archetype that means much more than the Biblical reference lends to the name.

It's the prophets who tell us things about ourselves (collectively and individually) that we sometimes don't wish to hear.

It's the prophets who point out "the emperor isn't wearing any clothes," no matter how hard we might wish to believe he really is wearing clothes. Sometimes we even think we can even see them!

Is it any wonder prophets are sometimes unpopular?

And yet, for those ready to hear their message, they are invaluable! Their rare gift makes it possible for us to avoid the pitfalls present in the illusions we so often create. They can guide us back to the Truth of our selves by pointing out again and again that what we wish to call "truth" is really not; or by confirming that what we think we see in ourselves really is there.
