The Church of the New Renaissance
Is a home for the Modern Mystic, for the study and practice of mysticism -- specifically Modern Mysticism and contemporary mysticism, and for the support of Modern and Contemporary mystics on their journey toward Union With The Divine. It has been organized to empower all persons:

to seek the Truth of their own lives and existence unencumbered by the dogmas and doctrines of traditional religion;

to promote consciousness, enlightenment, and spiritual self-reliance;

to move past simple tolerance of religious beliefs and into understanding and respect;

to see past the rich diversity of human religion and into the inherent, basic truths common to All;

and to promote those truths as the basis for self-empowerment.

The Blue Moon is July 31st, and from 6:00 to 8:00pm CNR will be hosting its 1st annual Once Upon a Blue Moon celebration. Bring food or drink that you only have ``once in a blue moon,'' and join like-minded others for a feast of rarities! You can download it right off the Metaphors For Life home page for $9.99 (60% less than the paper copy). The paper copy is due out in 6-8 weeks. Well, it's like this: Due to time and budget constraints it has been discontinued. Michael and Alesia, the two primary agents responsible for its construction have been so busy that publication fell further and further behind until --- well, finally it was decided to simply discontinue publication in favor of supporting the web site, the organization as a whole, and those members who need individual pathwork and support.
